Mr Waugh is an accomplished pharmaceutical executive with extensive management and drug development experience gained from working in Australia, Europe and United States. He has held Senior Executive roles at Roche and provided strategic counsel to most of the multinational pharmaceutical organizations in the transplant field. He has focused his career on maximizing pharmaceuticals by devising well-reasoned strategies backed by thorough research and then overseen the flawless implementation of tactics to reach or exceed corporate goals. He led the Roche transplant franchise in the USA for over 10 years and implemented a comprehensive clinical phase IIIB / IV program. Data from these clinical studies provided the platform to shift the clinical practice paradigm in transplant medicine. For 20+ years, Mr. Waugh has worked on developing and commercializing organ transplant drugs and has a rich experience and a deep network in the organ transplantation arena. He developed the Roche Organ Transplant Foundation and oversaw the development of the FDA Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) for Mycophenolate containing drugs. He has a Bachelor of Science from Sydney University and Grad Diploma of Marketing from University of Technology Sydney.
